5 Effective Strategies for Helping Your Child Memorize Scripture

Learning scripture may seem daunting. All those big words and hard phrases seems like too much for a little child to comprehend and regurgitate. I'm sure you have seen examples of children's Scriptures being edited down to short 4-10 word phrases. But the Bible says not to add to or take away from His Holy Word.

I am convinced that children can memorize long Scriptures just as well as adults. It might require a bit more effort from you. Here are some tips and tricks to make it easier for children to memorize scripture.

To increase memorization effectively, incorporate various physical movements such as hand motions, body gestures, or even sign language into learning and memorizing the Scripture.
